EVOLUTION OF THE BUTTERFLIES brings awareness through educating communities to develop a better understanding of individuals subjected to domestic violence and oppression.

Who Is Affected By Domestic Violence
Domestic Violence occurs in every culture, country, and age group. It affects people from all socioeconomic, educational, and religious backgrounds and it takes place in the same sex as well as heterosexual relationships. Abuse can happen to couples who are married, living together or who are dating.
Domestic Violence isn't a personal matter or even a family issue, it's an alarming and pervasive problem that impacts victims, abusers, family members, friends and entire communities. Despite this fact, most cases of Domestic Violence are never reported to the police.
Services
The National Domestic Violence Hotline is available to callers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to provide services in more than 170 languages. Hotline advocates answer questions, provide safety planning and information as well as directly connect callers to Domestic Violence resources available in their local calling area. All calls to the hotline are confidential and anonymous.
